Ring a sale

Audience: Cashier
Objective: Complete a GST retail sale at the counter.
Requires: pos

Steps

1. Open POS (/pos) or Sales → Create (/sales/create).
2. Add items; confirm rates and tax.
3. Link a customer/party when needed (loyalty, credit).
4. Optional: post to folio for an in-house guest instead of a stand-alone invoice.
5. Take payment and finish.
6. Print/share the English invoice per printing settings.

Result

Sale recorded; stock moves if the item tracks inventory; folio updated if posted.
