Employees and attendance

Audience: HR manager
Objective: Maintain employee profiles and daily attendance.
Requires: hr_view / hr_manage / hr_attendance_manage

Steps

1. Enable HR module; open HR (/hr).
2. Configure departments, designations, shifts under HR → Settings (/hr/settings).
3. Create employees (/hr/employees) and link profile_id when they need self-service.
4. Open Attendance (/hr/attendance) to punch or grid-mark present/half/absent/leave/holiday.
5. Remind managers: missing days are not auto-LOP in payroll - mark attendance deliberately.

Result

Attendance feeds payroll LOP calculation when payroll runs.
