Troubleshoot payroll
Audience: Payroll admin
Objective: Unblock run create, approve, and exports.
Symptoms
- LOP looks wrong
- Cannot approve run
- Employee cannot see
/payroll/me - TDS/PT surprise amounts
Likely causes

| Dual-control | Creator trying to approve own run |
| Profile not linked | profile_id on payroll employee |
| Wrong PT state / TDS regime | Run create options |

Fix
- Complete attendance for the period.
- Have a second authorized user approve (or owner self-approve when solo).
- Link employee profile for self-service.
- Treat TDS/PT as estimates - confirm with accountant.
- Payslips print in English only.
