Multi-property
Audience: Owner / manager of more than one lodge
Objective: Operate multiple properties in one workspace without mixing rooms or audits.
What it is
One workspace can hold many properties. Each property has its own rooms, reservations, folios, housekeeping, rates, tax rules, charge catalog, and night audit.
Single-property sites create one default property automatically; the header property switcher appears when a second property exists.
Why it exists
Operators often run an annex or second lodge under the same company without wanting separate logins for every staff member.
How operators use it
- Settings → Properties - add property (code + name + optional GST/address/times).
- Complete room types, rooms, and rates for that property.
- Switch with the header building icon before working front desk or property-scoped reports.
- Partners send
X-Baspex-Property-Idon API calls.
Common misconceptions
- Switching property does not move historical folios between lodges.
- Inventory and room blocks are not shared across properties.
- Property groups are for franchise-style oversight - see Property groups.
