Intellectual property ownership and how to report alleged infringement

Last updated: September 6, 2026

1. Opseno intellectual property

TorpedoWeb LLC ("Opseno", "we", "us") owns or licenses the Opseno software, websites, documentation, branding, logos, and related materials (collectively, "Opseno IP").

Except for the limited rights expressly granted in our Terms of Service, no licence to Opseno IP is granted by implication or otherwise. You may not copy, modify, distribute, publicly display, or create derivative works from Opseno IP without prior written permission, except where mandatory law permits.

Customer Data (as defined in the Terms) remains yours. Trademarks of third parties remain the property of their respective owners.

2. Customer content and takedown

You are solely responsible for content you upload to the Service, including images, menus, guest documents, and marketing assets.

If we receive a credible infringement notice relating to Customer Data, we may remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material, notify the workspace administrator, and — where appropriate — terminate repeat infringers, consistent with our Terms and applicable law.

3. DMCA-style notices (United States)

If you believe material available through Opseno infringes a copyright you own or control, and you wish to submit a notice under the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512), please send a written notice to our designated copyright agent including all of the following:

  • A physical or electronic signature of a person authorised to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
  • Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed (or a representative list if multiple works).
  • Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing, and information reasonably sufficient to locate it (URL, workspace identifier, screenshot, or similar).
  • Your contact information (name, postal address, telephone number, and email).
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • A statement that the information in the notice is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorised to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.

5. Counter-notices

If material you posted was removed and you believe the removal was a mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to the same agent with: your contact details; identification of the removed material and its prior location; a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification; and consent to the jurisdiction of competent courts as described in our Terms, plus acceptance of service of process from the complainant.

Where a DMCA counter-notice applies, we may restore material after the statutory waiting period unless the copyright owner files an action seeking a court order.
